Yannick Günzel

Yannick Günzel is an IMPRS doctoral student interested in the neurobiological and behavioural basis of swarming and decision-making. Over the past years, he has developed a fascination with investigating neuronal mechanisms underlying insect behaviour. For his PhD, Yannick now combines neurophysiological recordings and behavioural experimentation under conditions as naturalistic as possible to elucidate mechanisms underlying individual and group movement decisions.
